Sesame Orange Chicken

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Or Peanut Oil For Frying Chicken
  • 4 Whole Egg Whites
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs, Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Pork Beach Sesame Orange Grilling Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together cornstarch and egg whites until frothy.
  2. Add chicken to the mixture; let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 inches vegetable oil in heavy-bottomed pot until a deep-fry thermometer reads 350 degrees.
  4. In batches, drop a few pieces of chicken into oil (drop them in one by one to keep them from sticking together) and move around, 2-3 minutes or until light golden.
  5. Let the pieces drain on a plate lined with paper towels for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Drop chicken back into oil for 1 minute to solidify the coating.
  7. Toss chicken in sauce; serve immediately with orange zest and sliced green onions on a bed of rice.
